searched all night long and >>neil: -- and >>neil: sunrise when they will launch a c130 out of the sacramento to look from above. look at this exclusive video they did the same thing yesterday and they let abc7 news good along. we were the only crew up in the air with the teams searching the water for the family. still, no word on where the family could be. no sign of them. the four people on board have been missing since sunday afternoon. their distress call came in 60 miles west of monterey on sunday afternoon. in the call they said, and it was faint signal, they were able to get across the point and their 29' sailboat was taking on water and they were going to abandon ship. there were two adults and two children on board. they said they were hoping to float and survive on a life preserver ring and a cooler. that is all they had. that is the last they have been heard of. temperatures should be around 40 to 50 degrees in the water making long-term survival very difficult but the coast guard is not willing to give up at this point. still out searching and we will continue through the morning.

this actually just in from the sacramento area. here is mike desal with more from our affiliate, kcra. >> reporter: since about mid morning, it started to snow here. talk about different from 24 hours ago, let's swing it around. this big rig driver, he stopped here overnight, was asleep in his cab, he woke up to this. now he's got to try to hit the rode with snow on it. take a look at some of the concern we've seen out there. this is a pickup truck flipped over on i- 80 uphill. chain controls are in effect. as you heard, chp, caltrans, they are holding traffic. right now i-80 westbound in some spots with these spinouts and accidents again. the snow level, we have seen that, right around 3,000 feet elevation accumulating on the cars, mott much on the ground. back here live, certainly not the same picture 24 hours ago when walking your dog meant walking in the sunshine, the warm and the dry pavement. this woman right now, she's out walking her dog in the snow. that is just how different the picture is up here in the sierra right now.

we got all kinds of experts up to sacramento. it is just not true. the chambers of commerce always make that argument. big business always makes that argument. people who are making a million dollars a day make that freakin' argument that somebody else has to work at $7.25 an hour. it is not true. good for media matters. yesterday and thinkprogress too, both were all over this. they put out several papers, refuting that argument. let me just show you these are three recent studies that prove just the opposite. this is from media matters. march 2011, center for economic and policy research. raising minimum wage "no discernible impact on employment". 2010 institute for research on labor and employment. their finding no detectable employment losses from the kind of minimum wage increases we've seen in the united states. and the last one they cite, economic policy institute. this is just last year. in terms of youth unemployment. raise the minimum wage for teenage workers "warnings of massive teen job loss due to minimum wage increases simply do not comp

my parents, actually, left their home in sacramento and came and lived with my husband in florida to help him and, obviously, that was a great comfort to me to know that they would always be with someone who adored them. unfortunately, it was tough on their relationship with my husband.
